Confirmed: It was a date
So, you may remember in THIS POST, that I started chatting to a lovely gentleman at Bears last week.
We arranged to catch up at Bears again today (after he attended something else he had planned), and then have dinner afterwards. I asked him if he considered it a "date" - and he did! Which was... nice.
I let him hang around with a group of friends he had arranged to meet and I hung around with Craige, and a core group of people I know as well. But around 6.30pm, I went and excused myself to his friends, and asked if he was ready and available to go to dinner. About 10 minutes later, we left, and headed to Sushi Train for dinner.
We chatted a lot which was nice, and then I drove him back to Holsworthy Station, where he had parked his car (he lives quite far down in the Southern Highlands), so that he didn't have to catch a train back to Central and then to Holsworthy. And it's only about 15 minutes max from there back to my place anyway, so wasn't a problem.
I did get to have a VERY nice kiss with him in my car for a few minutes, before escorting him to his, and we both drove off together...
Strangely, I didn't get a photo of us together on this "date"... I hope that's not an ominous sign. And of course, I'm not going to put too much energy in to this, and just let whatever happens, happen organically. Whether it goes further or not, that's up to the universe...
